When to have an eye examination?
Regular eye examinations are an important part of your healthcare and are easy to forget about if you’re not having any problems. Eye diseases can start to develop with no pain or obvious symptoms and your eyes work for you from the moment you wake up to when you go to sleep (it is the most valuable of all your senses). Early detection is the key to helping preserve your vision and eye health. Your eyes are more valuable than your teeth and should be examined every 6 months to ensure you know what’s going on.
More frequent tests
We may ask you to come in for an eye examination even more often than usually recommended. This can be for a number of different reasons when deemed clinically necessary for the health of your eyes.
